A mask is absolutely unheathy. We lose 10 to 30% of the O2 we should be breathing. This reduces the processes in our bodies, such as the immune response and it affects our alertness. And trust me, when it comes to intelligence some people can use all the O2 they can get. Imagine the driver of a car or bicycle who, wearing a mask, passes out due to oxygen deprivation. The mask also creates a substrate for germs, which rapidly mulitply and at certain concentrations can cause infections of the host.
